History

Since its foundation in 1994, PrixMax has developed a reputation for knowing what it takes to effectively operate and manage engine fleets in some of the largest mining, oil and gas, power generation and transport operations in the world.

In 1996 PrixMax pioneered the introduction of Organic Acid Technology (OAT) formulated coolants into the Australian and South East Asian markets. Since then, the PrixMax Long Life Coolants have become arguably the most extensively field tested products of their kind, recording literally hundreds of thousands of hours of successful performance in the field across a huge range of Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) engines.

In more recent times, PrixMax has distinguished itself as a leading developer and supplier of low carbon footprint glycol-free OAT coolants. Since the mid-90s our R&D department has invested heavily in designing an advanced glycol-free formulation that is distinguished from other coolants on the market through superior performance and environmental sustainability in heavy duty applications. For sites operating in temperate climates, the PrixMax glycol-free coolants have consistently proven to offer greater levels of performance, durability, cost effectiveness and environmental sensitivity than glycol or alternative fluid based coolants. The PrixMax glycol-free coolants are some of the most environmentally sustainable products of their kind on the market today owing to their biodegradability, safety and non-toxicity to animal life.
